About Richard Kirsch

Richard brings a lifetime of real estate sales and development experience to the table when serving his client's needs. Growing up in a family of real estate developers in New Jersey he was surrounded by all aspects of the business since childhood. This has given Richard a comprehensive understanding of what goes into designing, constructing, and selling a home. After over a decade of tackling real estate ventures in Central New Jersey where he was raised, he moved to New York City and began serving client's real estate needs as an agent. He quickly carved out a niche in the residential leasing market and eventually started his own real estate brokerage that specializes in residential leasing in Lower Manhattan where his company is still responsible for leasing a $250+ million portfolio. Learning to operate and succeed in a hyper-competitive market such as NYC has allowed Richard to excel and grow as an entrepreneur, husband, and most recently father. 

Richard married his wife Laura in 2018 and two years later they discovered the Ogden Valley when a good friend moved to Eden and they came to visit. It didn't take long for them to realize they had found a truly magical place in the Ogden Valley and almost overnight they moved their whole lives here in pursuit of their true passion: enjoying nature and recreating outdoors. Soon after their son Oliver was born and now they spend their days exploring the beauty and serenity that the Ogden Valley has to offer with their son in tow. Richard enjoys backcountry/resort skiing, mountain biking, sailing, backpacking, and writing/performing music. Since relocating to the Ogden Valley almost five years ago he has spent many of his days exploring the great Wasatch mountains. He loves meeting people who share his passion for adventure and the outdoors and often likens the challenges of life to the challenges of ascending mountains.

When it comes to serving his clients best, his career has highlighted one crucial truth to him: buying or selling real estate can be one of the most daunting and stressful experiences of a person's life, but it doesn't have to be. His goal is to provide a top level concierge experience to each and every client he serves. Alleviating unnecessary stress and ensuring the smoothest experience from start to finish with the desired result is always his top priority. He achieves this by constantly being proactive, treating all situations with urgency and a keen attention to detail, and most importantly always being a calm and clear communicator to all parties at all times.
