About Mark Schweppe

As a native to Utah, Mark has always been drawn to the numerous outdoor opportunities available among the Wasatch Mountains. Having lived abroad in numerous countries and different states in the U.S., he was continually drawn back to Utah for its unspoiled beauty and access to outdoor adventure. 

In the winter, he’s usually searching for powder at one of the three local ski resorts, or found on a frozen waterfall somewhere along the Wasatch Front. While Summer lures him to the local climbing crags, mountain bike and hiking trails, or Pineview Reservoir. 

Living in beautiful Ogden Valley has been a gift in itself, and raising  four children in such a unique mountain resort destination, with both summer and winter activities and attractions, has instilled the same  love for adventure and appreciation for the wilderness in their children’s lives as well - the gift that keeps giving!

Mark is also well-versed as a hospitality specialist having owned and operated a boutique hotel as well as short-term rentals in Ogden Valley, and he’s active in the community currently serving as a commissioner on the local planning commission.
